Kate Kirschner, LMSW
Psychotherapist | NYC
Kate Kirschner (LMSW, PMH-C) is a psychotherapist passionate about supporting individuals and families as they navigate the journey through parenthood. She takes an integrative approach, working with clients through the transition to parenthood and the challenges that can arise along the way-including infertility, birth complications, and postpartum mood and anxiety disorders. Kate supports women and their families across the lifespan, exploring the intersecting identities we hold while building and rebuilding a sense of self through parenthood, marriage, career, aging parents, and more.
Beyond private practice, Kate serves as Editorial Producer for the digital parenting platform Good Inside, where she brings her clinical expertise to the development of content for parents navigating pregnancy and the early years with babies. She also leads new and expectant parent groups and community gatherings at the Marlene Meyerson JCC on the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
Kate is a certified perinatal mental health practitioner, a Level II Internal Family Systems (IFS) trained therapist, and has advanced training in Somatic Experiencing. Kate holds a BA from Middlebury College and an MSW from New York University.
