It's never too early or too late to seek support. While it's ideal to connect with a specialist during pregnancy or the early postpartum period, many mothers benefit from support months or even years after giving birth. If you're experiencing persistent sadness, anxiety, intrusive thoughts, or difficulty bonding with your baby, it's especially important to reach out soon.
-
Absolutely! Our offices are baby-friendly, and we understand the logistics of new parenthood. Observing your interactions with your baby can often provide valuable insights. However, if you prefer time to focus solely on yourself, we can accommodate that preference as well.
-
Postpartum therapy specifically addresses the unique challenges of new motherhood and the physiological, hormonal, and identity shifts that occur during this time. Our specialists have specific training in perinatal mental health and understand the complex interplay between physical recovery, sleep deprivation, infant care demands, and emotional adjustment.
