All children display challenging behaviors at times, particularly during developmental transitions. Consider seeking professional support if behaviors are persistent, intense, causing significant distress to your child or family, disrupting daily functioning, or interfering with your child's ability to develop relationships or succeed in school. Our initial consultation can help determine if additional support would be beneficial.
-
While some families notice improvements within a few weeks of implementing new strategies, meaningful and lasting behavioral change typically develops over time. The timeline varies based on the complexity of behaviors, underlying factors, consistency of implementation, and your child's unique temperament. We'll work with you to establish realistic expectations and celebrate progress along the way.

Our approach is customized to your family's needs. For younger children, we often work primarily with parents, providing coaching and strategies you can implement at home. For older children, we may combine parent coaching with direct work with your child. In some cases, we offer home-based observations to provide more targeted recommendations.
