Jennifer Prussin (LCSW)

Jennifer Prussin (LCSW) supports school-age children, adolescents, and young adults with concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use. Drawing from her training in evidence-based approaches such as CBT and DBT, Jennifer offers an individualized approach to psychotherapy that promotes self-awareness and self-compassion. Outside of private practice, Jennifer works with adolescents and adults at the Larchmont-Mamaroneck Community Counseling Center and leads groups at Mamaroneck’s Hommocks Middle School. Prior to this, Jennifer worked for Westchester Jewish Community Services assessing and treating individuals across the life span. While earning her Masters in Social Work at NYU, Jennifer worked at an elementary school-based mental health clinic in Harlem, conducting socialization groups and providing individual and family counseling. Jennifer loves working with diverse populations, is culturally competent, and works from a trauma-informed perspective. Additionally, she enjoys integrating creative and performing arts and music into her mental health practice.
